Recent UPSC’s public notice says “The commission will not issue paper admit card for mains exam.”
UPSC confirms no paper admit cards for the candidates in this year’s CSE (main). The examination is scheduled to start on early days of next month. 23 centers all over India are selected for conducting the test for UPSC from 3rd to 9th December.

The e-admit cards of the mains appearing candidates are uploaded in the official site of UPSC by the commission. Now, candidates can visit and download their e-admit cards for taking the print out. It is mandatory as aspirants have to show the hard copy of the e-admit cards at the center of the exam for appearing the Civil Services Exam (Mains).
UPSC is conducting India’s one of the toughest exam annually and they who qualifies the entire exam gets chance to serve Mother India. The examination is tough due to the three phase it has i.e. prelims, mains and personality test/interview. Candidates have to pass in all the phases to be Gazetted Officers.
Things to take into concern:
E-admit card is your ticket to the hall; therefore, it should be taken care of very much till the end of final exam. If the photograph is not available or visible on the e-admit cards, aspirants are suggested to carry similar photo along with valid ID proof to the exam venue for each session. Numbers of candidates are giving the Civil Services Exam, but a few gets the chance to serve the nation via many prestigious services like IAS, IFS, IPS, etc.
